Can merchandise be returned?

In designing our website [silkroaddesigns.ch] we placed great emphasis on a realistic presentation of the products we sell. We do this to give our customers the best possible idea of what their favorite object looks like In real life. Do not hesitate to ask for additional images if you are not sure about your selection. Returns and cash refunds are only allowed if the merchandise is damaged at delivery. Damages must be reported in writing within 5 working days and must be documented with a photograph.

 

Who ships my order and how is it delivered?

Depending on the sender country we ship with by mail or courier service. The sale price in your sales order always includes shipping costs. Import customs clearance for shipments is handled by the postal company of the receiving country. Any import duties will be calculated prior to shipping and included in your sales order.

 

Why do we require payment in advance?

Silkroad Designs is a small company and does not have the resources to adequately hedge against the risk of outstanding payments. Therefore we ship only after receipt of payment. If we cannot fulfill our delivery promise or if the goods reach you in damaged condition, you will of course get your money back.
